I live in Inverness , a bonnie city and capital of the Scottish Highlands. The Highlands and Western Isles are in my opinion the most scenic area of Scotland, if not of the United Kingdom .

My interests include my wee garden, home computing, reading, giving support to the local branch of the Institute of Advanced Motorists, and when time allows genealogy, which is fascinating, although at times, frustrating, but with reward when a piece of the puzzle is finally placed.
